Very thought provoking, with no hidden agendas… just a great group of thinkers looking to delve into tough topics!!

  2. Can anyone direct me to the Evidence part of the web site?
    Thanks……. Jim

  3. Hello, Jim.

I am the moderator of our group’s blog, “Evidence-Based Faith”

    Your question was,
“Can anyone direct me to the Evidence part of the web site?”

Well, our blog isn’t really that sort of website, of course. It is the blog for a group of Christian friends who meet to discuss evidence of various kinds, evidence for various things. If you have read our past meeting topics, you know that we have pretty wide interests.

The evidence for our Christian faith is at least somewhat described in the material we read. We do not reproduce it on the site, but we do have a number of links to it here and there.

I would particularly refer you to the following sites for a wide variety of media. Within these sites is some of the evidence which our group has found persuasive, as regards the claim of the Christian faith and scriptures to be true.

    http://www.reasonablefaith.org/

    http://www.reasons.org/

    http://www.veritas.org/

Plenty more links are under the “Go There” list on the right.

If you are looking for evidence regarding other things such as the age of the earth or whether there is extraterrestrial intelligence or specifics on geological or astrophysical events, our views on those topics are not uniform! But someone in the group might be interested in exchanging evidence with you to further study the hypotheses we hold.

Hope that helps. Thanks for stopping by (and if you are in the Okanagan region of British Columbia sometime, do contact us).

  4. Is this a Bible based faith or “faith” from other works?
    Thanks

  5. Regarding our Christian faith, Bible-based. Regarding other facts, Bible-informed, but also a faith in scientific and historical evidences of other kinds.

  6. Thanks so much Krista! You do an absolutely amazing job. I am so blessed to have you as my friend. Thank you for all that you do. I can definitely learn from you and Jody on your organizational skills. I appreciate your passion and knowledge in this area. Thank you again!
